The present invention relates to a composition for photodynamic therapy or diagnosis containing a photosensitizer-metal nanosheet complex. When the folate-loaded metal nanosheet of the present invention is used, the solubility can be increased by effectively loading the poorly soluble photosensitizer, the stability can be maintained without being decomposed in the blood upon administration to the body to suppress the indiscriminate release of the photosensitizer, and further, the nanosheet enerting the cancer cells can be almost completely degraded by glutathione (GSH), which exists at a high concentration in cancer cells. By using the photosensitizer-metal nanosheet complex of the present invention, an effect of the new concept of anti-cancer treatment can be demonstrated, which can reduce the dose of the anti-cancer drug dramatically while having less side effects and effective treatment.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018본 발명은 광감각제-금속나노시트 복합체를 함유하는 광역학 치료 또는 진단을 위한 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 엽산이 로딩된 금속나노시트를 활용하는 경우, 난용성 광감각제를 효과적으로 적재하여 가용성을 높일 수 있고, 체내 투여시 혈액 내에서 분해되지 않고 안정성을 유지하여 무분별한 광감각제의 방출을 억제할 수 있으며, 나아가 암세포 내로 들어간 나노시트는 암세포 내에 높은 농도로 존재하는 글루타치온 (GSH)에 의해 거의 완벽하게 분해될 수 있는바, 본 발명의 광감각제-금속나노시트 복합체를 사용함으로써, 항암제의 투여량을 획기적으로 낮추면서도 부작용이 적고 효과적인 치료가 가능한 신개념의 항암 치료 효과를 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
