The carrier is 10 formed of a foamed polymeric web having a height of between about 200 and about 500 ?m. The first major surface of the carrier is disposed in facing relation and is removably attached to the second major surface of the wound cover, and it has disposed thereon at least one pressure sensitive adhesive.
