A granular feed additive that contains an L-amino acid selected from the group consisting of L-lysine, L-methionine, L-threonine, L-tryptophan, L-valine and mixtures thereof, based on fermentation broth and suitable for preparing feed for bred in aquaculture animals, while the content of L-amino acids or mixtures of L-amino acids is at least 20 wt. % of the total composition of the granulated feed additive, at least 70 wt. % of the particles have a diameter of more than 63 to less than 300 microns, the biomass content is at least 5 wt. %, and the surface of the particles is completely or partially covered with edible oil. 2. The feed additive according to claim 1, characterized in that the L-amino acid is L-lysine, which is represented as its sulfate salt in a molar ratio between sulfate and L-lysine of at least 0.5.3.
