PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for an endoscope excellent in the strength to grip a biological tissue, capable of reopening the clip till the optimum ligature can be confirmed.
SOLUTION: The clip 1 for the endoscope comprises a body 200 with body distal-end pawl parts 210 at the distal end and arms 220 extending from the proximal end 500 to be opened by the self-opening property, and a retractable tightening member 300 inserted into the proximal end 500 of the body 200. Each arm 220 is composed of a curved part 600 extending from the proximal end 500 and an approximately straight tissue griping part 700 extending to the distal end from the curved part 600. The arms 220 are closed when the tightening ring 300 is moved to the curved part 600 side, and opened when the tightening ring is moved to the proximal end 500 side. A rib 225 is disposed on at least one side of opposite faces of each curved part 600.
