PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member for a bed side rail which allows an operation member for pressing and fixing into an attachment hole by tilting a leg part to be reliably operated with small force and prevents the operation member from moving unexpectedly.SOLUTION: An upper part of leg parts 7, 8 is provided to tilt in a pair of cylindrical supporting members 3, 4 provided on a side rail in a manner that an axial direction becomes vertical. A lever 20 as an operation member is supported on a support post 2 arranged between the supporting members 3, 4 to oscillate by a rotational shaft 10. A first connecting lever 5 pivotally supported by a second rotational shaft 11 of the lever 20 has a tip end part connected to an upper part of the one leg part 7. A second connecting lever 6 whose tip end part is connected to an upper part of the other leg part 8 is pivotally supported by a third rotational shaft 12 of the lever 20. Consequently, by oscillating the lever 20, the leg parts 7, 8 tilt through the first and second connecting levers 5, 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
