PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter which enables maintenance of cells after transplantation and can improve the engraftment rate.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 includes an insertion part 10 to be inserted inside a living body. The insertion part 10 includes a tubular body 15 formed of a first tube 11 and a second tube 12 extending in an axial direction and having a closed distal end and a third tube 13 whose distal end is inserted into the tubular body 15 so as to project to the outside from the distal end of the tubular body 15, and that has an open distal end. An external wall 15a of the tubular body 15 is formed of a semipermeable membrane.
