In the segmentation unit (153), a plurality of frames including positional information on feature points that correspond to a predetermined part or a joint part of the body of a subject are segmented based on a position of the predetermined part of the body of the subject in time series, and accordingly the plurality of frames are classified into a plurality of groups in time series. For each group, the identification unit (154) identifies a type of a basic motion that corresponds to the group based on movement of the feature points included in consecutive frames. The first evaluation unit (155) evaluates a skill and a difficulty level of the motion performed by the subject based on the order of each type of the basic motion that corresponds to the group that is consecutive in time series.
