SOLUTION: The apparatus for corpse treatment includes the body cavity sealing member of a corpse obtained by sealing a water-absorbing swelling substance that absorbs water, swells and gels into a swellable container having a large number of water-permeable pores on a wall surface and no opening, a guide member that has openings at both ends, formed in a tubular shape, stores the body cavity sealing member of the corpse and guides the body cavity sealing member of the corpse from the anus of the corpse into the rectum, a rod-like pushing-out member that pushes out the body cavity sealing member of the corpse inserted from one end opening of the guide member and stored in the guide member, from the other end opening.
