The invention relates to an ophthalmic system for controlling an infusion liquid pressure at a distal end of an ophthalmic irrigation device penetrating an eye and being connected to an irrigation line for feeding the device with an infusion liquid. The system comprises a processor that is arranged for estimating a compensation pressure for compensating an internal pressure loss in the eye due to surgical acts in the eye. The estimation result is used for dynamically adjusting, in response to the estimated compensation pressure, the pressure of the irrigation liquid in the irrigation line. The estimation step is based on a configuration and/or actual operation of an ophthalmic surgical device performing the surgical acts in the eye.L'invention porte sur un système ophtalmique destiné à contrôler une pression de liquide d'infusion à une extrémité distale d'un dispositif d'irrigation ophtalmique pénétrant un œil et étant relié à une ligne d'irrigation pour alimenter le dispositif avec un liquide d'infusion. Le système comprend un processeur conçu pour estimer une pression de compensation pour compenser une perte de pression interne dans l'œil en raison d'actes chirurgicaux dans l'œil. Le résultat de l'estimation est utilisé pour ajuster de manière dynamique, en réponse à la pression de compensation estimée, la pression du liquide d'irrigation dans le conduit d'irrigation.
