The present invention relates to a gimbap manufacturing method and gimbap manufactured thereby, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing gimbap for factory automation which enables mass production of gimbap, maintains a shape of gimbap while providing good flavor and taste； and gimbap manufactured thereby. To this end, the present invention comprises: a cooked rice supplying step (S10) of supplying cooked rice manufactured through a cooked rice manufacturing step (P10) to a hopper； a cooked rice pulverizing step (S20) of moving agglomerated cooked rice in the hopper to an agitator and pulverizing the same； a cooked rice discharging step (S30) of moving the pulverized cooked rice to a molding device and discharging a predetermined amount of the cooked rice as a rectangular shape on laver transferred along a transfer line； a topping adding step (S40) of putting toppings on the moved rectangular cooked rice； a laver rolling step (S50) of surrounding the rectangular cooked rice having toppings added thereto by laver； and a gimbap cutting step (S60) of cutting the gimbap surrounded by laver.본 발명은 김밥 제조방법 및 이에 의해 제조된 김밥에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는 줄김밥의 대량 생산을 가능하게 하면서 줄김밥의 모양을 제대로 유지하도록 함과 아울러 맛의 풍미 또한 즐기도록 할 수 있는 공장 자동화용 줄김밥 제조방법 및 이에 의해 제조된 줄김밥에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명은, 미반 제조단계(P10)를 거쳐 제조된 미반을 호퍼에 공급하는 미반 공급단계(S10)와； 호퍼 내 뭉친 미반을 교반기로 이동시켜 분쇄하는 미반 분쇄단계(S20)와； 분쇄된 미반을 성형기로 이동시켜 이송라인을 따라 운반되는 김 위에 일정량의 직사각형 형태로 내보내는 미반 배출단계(S30)와； 이송되는 직사각형 형태의 미반상에 토핑을 올리는 토핑 추가단계(S40)와； 토핑 추가된 직사각형 형태의 미반을 김으로 둘러싸는 김말이 단계(S50)와； 김으로 둘러싸진 줄김밥을 커팅하는 줄김밥 커팅단계(S60)；를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
