PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when an object to be transplanted is dropped and fed to a planting hole, it fails to be fed to the suitable position of the transplantation hole caused by rebounding of the object and, as a result, the depth of transplantation and the like of the object to be transplanted are not stable, therefore, the crops are not possibly cultured in a good state, as the object to be transplanted is dropped and fed to the planting hole by transplantation method using a conventional transplanter. SOLUTION: This transplantation method is to drop and feed the object 102 to be transplanted to the planting hole in a field by installing a flexible film 103 to the object 102 to be transplanted. The object 102 to be transplanted is covered with the flexible film 103. The residual part 103a of the film 103 covering the object 102 to be transplanted is discriminated from the part 103b covering the object 102 to be transplanted by tying the boundary position 103c between the residual part 103a and the covering part 103 of the object 102 to be transplanted. Thus the film 103 is installed to the object 102 to be transplanted. The object to be transplanted is transplanted by dropping and feeding into the planting hole in the field.
