PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet food containing dietary fiber capable of effectively preventing obesity in pets without causing a reduced palatability or abnormal stool.SOLUTION: There is provided a pet food for reducing obesity risk which contains 1.5-2.5 dried mass% of soluble fiber as a dried matter based on the total weight, and contains 15-25 mass% based on the weight of fiber containing soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. The pet food for reducing obesity risk is preferred to contain 7-10 mass% of insoluble fiber as a dried matter based on the total weight.【課題】嗜好性の低下や便の異常を引き起こすことなく、ペットの肥満を効果的に防止可能な食物繊維含有ペットフードの提供。【解決手段】水溶性繊維を全重量に対して乾物で１．５～２．５乾物質量％、水溶性繊維と不溶性繊維を含む繊維重量に対して１５～２５質量％含有する肥満リスク低減用ペットフードを提供する。この肥満リスク低減用ペットフードは、不溶性繊維を全重量に対して乾物で７～１０質量％含有することが好ましい。【選択図】なし
