The invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthopaedics and is intended for correction of valgus deformity of the 1-st metatarsal bone and deals with the method for surgical treatment of valgus deformity of the 1-st metatarsal bone. Provision of required correction is achieved by the fact that method of treatment includes wedge osteotomy of the head of the 1-st metatarsal bone and transverse osteotomy of the base of the 1-st metatarsal bone with correction of deformity. The method includes fixation of the first toe in position of achieved correction by means of Kirschner wire through the base of the proximal phalanx of the first toe from lateral side transarticularly, intramedullarily through all osteotomated fragments of metatarsal bone, cuneiform bone and navicular bone, with the second wire through the base of the proximal phalanx of the 1-st toe from medial side, head of the 1-st metatarsal bone and metaphysis of the 2-nd metatarsal bone. The disclosed method makes it possible to achieve required correction in the most sparing way and fix the 1-st toe with two wires: longitudinally and to the 2-nd metatarsal bone. It ensures simplification of the method, increased reliability and convenience of its realisation, provides high cosmetic effect, as it prevents contraction of p/o scars and skin deformation, as well as creates correct toe position, and makes it possible to reduce rehabilitation terms, as rigid fixation with wires ensures consolidation of fragments without displacement.Изобретение относится к медицине, а именно к ортопедии и предназначено для коррекции вальгусной деформации 1-й плюсневой кости и касается способа оперативного лечения вальгусной деформации 1-й плюсневой кости.
