An herbal extract based solution for using as a cleaning composition for, copper and copper alloys thereof is disclosed. The solutions such as Kenaf (Hibiscus Cannabinus) or Roselle (Hibiscus Sabdariffa) and Shikai (AcaciaConcinna) or Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) or Lemon (CitrusxLimon) are extracted by using heat processing and cold processing respectively and the extracted solution will be mixed as specified and added with required quantities of food grade preservatives. The solution such as Gum acacia and/or Gum Karaya are added to make an effective viscose solution, yet substantially non-reactive with compounds having low oxidative states including human skin tissue.
