Cosmetic use of a composition comprising association of at least one monosaccharide comprising mannose and/or rhamnose, and at least one sunscreen agent, in a medium, to reduce and/or prevent the signs of skin aging or its appendages, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a cosmetic composition comprising the association of the monosaccharide comprising mannose and/or rhamnose and the sunscreen agent, in the medium, where the composition is devoid of association of xylitol and mannitol, and the sunscreen agent is an organic sunscreen agent, which is anthranilate, salicylic derivative, benzophenone derivative, diphenylacrylate derivative, triazine derivative, benzotriazole derivative, benzalmalonate derivative, benzimidazole derivatives, imidazoline, bis-benzazolyl derivative, p-amino benzoic acid derivative, methylene bis-(hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole) derivative, benzoxazole derivatives, polymers and silicones sunscreen agent, dimers derived from alpha -alkylstyrene, 4,4-diarylbutadiene, and/or merocyanine derivative； and (2) a device comprising a composition A containing at least one sunscreen agent, and a composition B containing at least one monosaccharide comprising mannose and/or rhamnose, packaged separately from the composition A.
