PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily make positioning of a cross-sectional image.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a generation part and a display control part. The generation part generates a plurality of cross-sectional images which correspond to a plurality of cross-sectional positions of an object obtained from three-dimensional data containing the object and at least one of which has a mark corresponding to a feature portion relating to the object, and displays the plurality of generated cross-sectional images on a display part side by side respectively.
