PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform quantitative analysis on bloodstream kinetics after examination while securing observation for bloodstream kinetics.
SOLUTION: In this ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, a generated contrast image and a tissue image are displayed side by side on the right and left side of a monitor before a specified period. For example, during the specified period of performing image processing to generate an image 3 where kinetics of a very small bloodstream is extracted by the maximum value luminance retaining processing, switching to the tissue image is performed to display the contrast image and the image 3 side by side on the right and left in the monitor. After the specified period, switching to the image 3 is performed to display the contrast image and the tissue image again side by side on the right and left in the monitor.
