A stent (1) to be implanted in a living body is formed substantially as a tube which has a form in which a plurality of wavy annular members (2) is arranged adjacently to each other in an axial direction of the stent (1) with the adjacent wavy annular members (2) connected with each other, has a diameter whose dimension is so set that the stent (1) can be inserted into a lumen inside a living body, and can be expanded when a force spreading radially from an inside of the tube is applied thereto. The wavy annular member (2) has parallel straight-line portions (11) extended in parallel with the axis of the stent (1) before and after the stent (1) expands. The stent (1) has connection portions (3) each connecting ends of the parallel straight-line portions (11) of the adjacent wavy annular members (2) to each other.본 발명에 따르면, 생체에 이식되는 스텐트(1)는 대체로 튜브로 형성되고, 복수의 파형 환상 부재(2)가 스텐트(1)의 축방향으로 서로 인접하게 배열되고 인접한 파형 환상 부재(2)는 서로 연결되는 형태를 가지며, 스텐트(1)가 생체 내측의 루멘에 삽입될 수 있도록 치수가 설정된 직경을 가지며, 튜브의 내측으로부터 반경방향으로 발산하는 힘이 가해질 때 확장될 수 있다. 파형 환상 부재(2)는 파형 환상 부재(2)가 확장하기 전과 확장한 후에 스텐트(1)의 축과 평행하게 연장된 평행 직선 라인 부분(11)을 갖는다. 스텐트(1)는 각각이 인접한 파형 환상 부재(2)의 평행 직선 라인 부분(11)을 서로 연결하는 연결 부분(3)을 갖는다.
