PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently display time sequential image data in an optionally set observation period.SOLUTION: An image data generating part 4 generates the time sequential image data (a first image data group) for the portion of a prescribed heart rate cycle, based on a reception signal obtained from a subject by the reception and transmission of ultrasonic wave to which a stress echo method is applied. An image data storage part 5, in parallel with the generation of the first image data group, adds R-wave timing information of an electrocardiographic waveform which is measured from the subject, and an image data generating condition which is supplied from an input part 10, to the first image data group and stores the first image data group. An observation period setting part 6 sets the observation period, based on the R-wave timing information and a frame rate included in the image data generating condition.
