<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a transformation method for obtaining an extremely large amount of transformant by significantly improving the transformation efficiency of gramineous plants by an agrobacterium method； and a transformation method based on the agrobacterium method applicable to all gramineous plants including kinds and breeds showing low transformation efficiency in conventional methods. <；P>；SOLUTION: There are provided: a transformation method of gramineous plants by the agrobacterium method having significantly improved transformation efficiency which is performed by cocultivation of the callus or embryo of the gramineous plants and an agrobacterium holding a foreign gene using a medium containing extracts from the callus of rice plant in the transformation method of the gramineous plants by the agrobacterium method； and the transformation method in which the callus of the gramineous plants is prepared by liquid shaking culture. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
