The present invention relates to a composition for prevention or treatment of vascular smooth muscle cell hyperplasia and migration or vascular endothelial proliferative disorders, comprising Dendropanax morbifera extract. The Dendropanax morbifera extract shows an efficacy in inhibiting vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration by inhibiting expression and activity of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP 2) or matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP 9) and inhibiting expression of phosphorylated AKT (phospho-AKT, p-AKT) or phosphorylated ERK 1/2 (phospho-ERK 1/2, p-ERK 1/2), each of which is a signaling substance for promoting proliferation and migration of arterial smooth muscle cells. In addition, the Dendropanax morbifera extract has an efficacy in inhibiting vascular endothelial proliferation by significantly reducing expression of PCNA, which is a nuclear protein that is an important indicator for identifying cell proliferation.
