The disclosure relates to a method for producing a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of obesity or for decreasing food intake or for controlling weight gain or for inducing satiety in an individual or for prevention or treatment of a 5HT-2C disorder in an individual, said method comprises providing an admixture comprising: (a) a phentermine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and (b) a selective 5HT-2C receptor agonist selected from 8-chloro-1-methyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-3-benzazepine, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, hydrate, enantiomer or diastereomer thereof, and a racemate comprising said enantiomer or diastereomer.
