A Sodium Bicarbonate Catheter Lock Solution that prevents clotformation inside the catheter lumen and ensures patency of the catheter andalsoeliminates bleeding and other complications caused through the use ofanticoagulants and other solutions as a catheter locking solution. Said locksolution may be used with or without other components such asantimicrobials/antibiotics and/or anti-coagulants/anti- clotting agents.
