A surgical instrument comprises a first member extending between a first end including a first mating surface and a second end including an inner surface defining a passageway. A second member extends between a first end including a second mating surface and a second end including a first dimension and a second dimension greater than the first dimension. The second end of the second member includes an opening configured for movable disposal of a guidewire. The second member is disposable within the passageway such that the second ends are substantially uniformly tapered and the first dimension extends from the second dimension to space tissue.
