PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved surgical attachment.SOLUTION: A surgical attachment to be used with an electromechanical driving device, which is selectively connectable and remotely actuated, is used to dilate occlusive vessel and lumen. The attachment is connectable to the electromechanical driving device and has an axial rod 200 which can rotate selectively depending on the actuation of the electromechanical driving device. The rod 200 has opposing threaded screws 206, 208 at its both ends. A pair of nuts 210, 212 is installed on the rod 200, particularly on the opposing threaded screws 206, 208. The rod 200 and the nuts 210, 212 are disposed in an axial track which rotates the rod 200 but controls a rotation behavior of the nuts 210, 212.
