PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus capable of calculating a movement amount of an eye to be examined based on position information on a plurality of blood vessel characteristic regions acquired by the scanning of light by scanning means.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic apparatus which includes scanning means (SLO-XY scanner) for scanning light for an eye to be examined acquires an image of the eye to be examined on the basis of the return light from the eye to be examined irradiated with the light scanned by the scanning means, and extracts a plurality of blood vessel characteristic regions (blood vessel branch parts) from the acquired image.
