The invention relates to a prosthesis cover (100) having a closed cross-section with a first section (10), a second section (20) and a third section (30). The second section is positioned between said first and third sections in the longitudinal direction, and consists of a different material to the other two sections. Optionally, at least one first subsection (21) of the second section (20) can be, in part, folded, doubled over, raised, in pleats or in multiple layers.
