PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an artificial carbonated spring, capable of continuously generating carbonic acid gas in bath water and keeping high carbonic acid gas concentration for a long time (such as &ge1 h).SOLUTION: The method for preparing the artificial carbonated spring comprises perfectly dissolving an alkaline carbonate in bath water and adding an acid component (organic acid or inorganic acid) in the bath water as a liquid (aqueous solution).
