The present invention relates to an Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene for increasing the plant yields and a use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for increasing the yield of plants compared to that of wild plants of the same varieties by including a step of transfecting a plant cell with a recombinant vector including the Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene for the over-expression of the Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene, a method for preparing transgenic plants for yields higher than that of the wild varieties of the same plants by including a step of transfecting a plant cell with a recombinant vector including the Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene for the over-expression of the Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene, the transgenic plants prepared by using the method, seeds thereof, and a plant yield increasing composition including the recombinant vector including the Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene. According to the present invention, the transgenic plants prepared with the Oryzasativa-derived AP2TF gene has an increased seed size and an increased growth rate compared to wild varieties of the same plants to increase the plant yield overall. Accordingly, the present invention can be useful for constructing various plant development platforms with improved yields.본 발명은 식물의 수확량을 증진시키는 벼(Oryza sativa) 유래의 AP2TF 유전자 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 벼 유래의 AP2TF 유전자를 포함하는 재조합 벡터를 식물세포에 형질전환시켜 AP2TF유전자를 과발현하는 단계를 포함하는 야생형에 비해 식물의 수확량을 증진시키는 방법, 벼 유래의 AP2TF유전자를 포함하는 재조합 벡터를 식물세포에 형질전환시켜 AP2TF 유전자를 과발현하는 단계를 포함하는 야생형에 비해 식물의 수확량이 증진된 형질전환 식물체의 제조 방법, 상기 방법에 의해 제조된 형질전환 식물체 및 이의 종자, 및 벼 유래의 AP2TF 유전자를 포함하는 재조합 벡터를 함유하는 식물의 수확량 증진용 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면, 벼 유래의 AP2TF 유전자가 형질전환된 식물체는 야생형 식물체에 비해 식물 종자의 크기 또는 식물체의 생장이 증가함으로써 전체적인 식물 수확량을 증진시킴을 확인하였다. 따라서 수확량이 증진된 다양한 식물체 개발 플랫폼 구축에 유용하게 활용할 수 있다.
