PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device and a washing method for the toilet device, the washing method being performed using the toilet device, capable of obtaining a high washing effect by making it possible, in irradiating a bowl part with ultraviolet light, to irradiate any positions of the whole surface of an inner surface of the bowl part with ultraviolet light from close distances that are approximately the same.SOLUTION: A toilet device includes at least: a toilet device body； a toilet bowl attached to the toilet device body, the toilet bowl including a bowl part； and an ultraviolet light source for irradiating an inner surface of the bowl part with ultraviolet light.
