The present invention includes novel compositions and methods for eliciting high immune responses, which yield conformationally sensitive antibodies with good specificity. These antibodies recognize specific epitopes for a wide variety of antigens, including but not limited to amyloid protein, prion protein, P 170 glycoprotein. The novel compositions of the invention generally comprise supramolecular antigen constructs comprising peptide sequences covalently attached to pegylated lysine resulting in denatured and improved peptide presentation.
