Herbal fairness cream was formulated using herbal extracts which have potential uses like anti acne, moisturizer, anti biotic, anti oxidant, anti wrinkle, enhancing complexion. The aim of the research is to avoid the side effects caused by usage of synthetic cosmetics. Different crude drugs such as Piper nigrum (Black pepper), Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon), Ocimum tenuiflorum (Tulasi), Santalum album (sandalwood oil), Myristica fragrans(Nutmeg seeds), Olium rosae(Rose Oil), Prunus dulcis (Almond oil), were taken. The prepared formulation was subjected to different evaluation tests such as Spreadability, pH, Appearance, Viscosity, irritability. The prepared formulation was found stable and effective. Among the several combinations only one preparation showed better results. From the results it was concluded that cream containing herbal extracts having potent anti acne and fairness property and can be used as the provision of a barrier to protect skin.
