PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-wash absorbent article, wherein dirt such as menstrual blood of the absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin is excellently removed by a hand wash of a hand rub by devising improvement on side sealing parts on both sides of an absorber without diffusing the dirt more than necessary, and wherein breaking-out of an absorber material is effectively suppressed.SOLUTION: This absorbent article 100 includes: an oblong absorbent body including an absorption layer and a leakproof layer and side sheets 5. The side sheet is disposed with the side sealing part 4. The side sealing part is formed with a seal pattern comprising a zigzag shape and/or a plurality of waveforms swinging in the width direction in a plan view, at least in an excretion part-facing area.
