PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for medical/dental use as a medical/dental material containing a polycarboxylic acid containing less than 1 mass% of low-boiling compounds including an unpolymerized acrylic acid monomer and methacrylic acid monomer through efficiently and economically removing these compounds.SOLUTION: The curable composition for medical/dental use is, for example, resin-modified glass ionomer cement, which comprises a powder component comprising fluoroaluminosilicate glass powder, a polymerization initiator and a polymerization promoter and a liquid component comprising an acidic polyelectrolyte containing 0.00001-1 mass% of unreacted monomer, purified water, a hydroxycarboxylic acid and a radical-polymerizable monomer.
