PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing implement for an endoscope, capable of surely maintaining a sutured state without letting a retaining chip left on the back side of a body inner wall or the like fall out to the front side of the body inner wall even when it is pulled by a suture thread after suturing treatment.
SOLUTION: The retaining chip 5 has a cut 5s or a notch reaching the center position from the outer edge part formed at one part of a planar member comprising an elastic material, is elastically deformed in a narrowed shape inside the distal end of a guide sheath 2 or inside a puncture needle 3, and returns to a widened natural shape from the narrowed shape when extruded from the distal end of the puncture needle 3 by a chip extrusion member 6.
