The thrust assembly is coupled to the reciprocating drive shaft, the thrust assembly comprises a solid polymerthrust, comprising a base a shaft coming out of the thrust base and a staple suture formation surface attached to the thrust base. The thrust shaft comprises an opening extending through the thrust shaft and thrust base, wherein the first end of the metal shaft protrudes from the opening in the thrust base and stops against the upper part of the thrust base, and the second end of the metal shaft protrudes from the opening in the thrust shaft, and the metal shaft is attached both to the thrust shaft and to the reciprocating drive shaft.
