The present invention relates to a wheelchair having a valve type suspension with a cushioning action and a height-adjustable function on a post part thereof. The wheelchair of the present invention comprises: two rear suspension units installed between a rear post part and a rear wheel of a frame to elastically absorb a load a front suspension unit including a piston unit in a pipe shape having an open lower surface thereof and installed in a lower end of a front post unit extended vertically on the front of both sides of the frame, a cylinder unit in a pipe shape having an open upper surface thereof and having the piston unit inserted and connected thereto to be vertically slid, an elastic member elastically supporting the piston unit, installed between the piston unit and the cylinder unit, and a ventilation hole penetrated on an upper side of the piston unit and a height adjusting unit including a lever installed on one side of the frame to enable user control and a valve bar installed to open and close the ventilation hole of the piston unit while being vertically moved by the operation of the lever.
