A small-sized motorized vehicle that travels by a drive force of an electric motor. The motorized vehicle includes crossing state determining means (115) and alerting means (38, 65, 66, 81, 82). The crossing state determining means uses road information and vehicle positional information obtained from a GPS-based navigation system (32) as well as orientation angle information on the vehicle to determine a state of the vehicle when turning or crossing a road. The alerting means alerts nearby vehicles and other subjects that the vehicle is crossing a road or turning.
