An infusion product 1 for making a beverage comprises a sheet-like matrix formed from fibres of a first plant material 2 such as lokta, cotton, hemp or abaca. Particles of a second plant material 3 such as fruits, herbs, medicinal plants, tea, vegetables or spices are embedded within the sheet-like matrix, configured such that an extract from the second plant material infuses into a first liquid such as water when the infusion product is soaked in the liquid to make the beverage. The matrix may also comprise an extract from a third plant material. A method of making the infusion product comprises: soaking fibres of a first plant material in a second liquid to form a pulp; mixing particles of a second plant material with the pulp; forming the pulp into a sheet; and drying the sheet.
