PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer allowing for proper coping according to cause of an abnormal waveform of a pulse wave signal.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer 1 includes: determination means 15 determining whether or not a condition (a) that is at least one condition selected from a group comprising conditions (a1)-(a3) and the following condition (b) are satisfied about a pulse wave signal first display means 11 performing display to prompt re-measurement when the condition (a) is satisfied second display means 11 performing display to prompt input of a blood pressure value when the condition (b) is satisfied and blood pressure value input means 9, 13. The condition (a1): an SNR of the pulse wave signal is a prescribed threshold value or less. The condition (a2): correlation between waveforms of every pulse in the pulse wave signal or the like is a prescribed threshold value or less. The condition (a3): variation of every pulse in a feature quantity calculated from the pulse wave signal is a prescribed threshold value or greater.
