PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the transfer efficiency of a small signal charge quantity obtained by photographing under specific light observation.SOLUTION: The endoscopic device includes a solid-state image sensing device having a plurality of pixels aligned and formed in a two-dimensional array shape on a semiconductor substrate and a plurality of vertical charge transfer paths formed respectively along a plurality of pixel lines constituted by the pixels, the image sensing device being built in a tip portion of an endoscope and an endoscopic control unit which forms, in the vertical charge transfer paths, a signal packet 91 storing signal charges detected by the pixels in the vertical charge transfer paths, and transfers it, and further forms, in photographing under a specific light environment, an empty packet 90 which picks up transfer residual charges produced by the transfer of the signal packet 91 in the subsequent stage in the transfer direction of the signal packet 91.
