The invention is a kit for determining and assessing the monocular or binocular contrast sensitivity of a subject, comprising at least one optotype (A, B) and at least one assessment chart (Ga, Gb) correlated with said optotype (A, B) and substantially showing said frequency and contrast values according to the order given in said optotype (A, B), and wherein on said assessment chart (Ga, Gb) it is possible to fix the points (Gn) corresponding to the minimum contrast values (An, Bn) of the last grid (Ca, Cb) perceived by the subject for each series of grids (Ca, Cb) at constant frequency in the optotype (A, B), thus drawing a typical curve (Gt, Gp) of the subjects contrast sensitivity.La présente invention concerne un kit pour déterminer et évaluer la sensibilité au contraste monoculaire ou binoculaire dun sujet, comprenant au moins un optotype (A, B) et au moins un diagramme dévaluation (Ga, Gb) corrélé audit optotype (A, B) et indiquant substantiellement lesdites valeurs de fréquence et de contraste conformément à lordre indiqué dans ledit optotype (A, B). Sur ledit diagramme dévaluation (Ga, Gb), il est possible de fixer les points (Gn) correspondant aux valeurs de contraste minimales (An, Bn) de la dernière grille (Ca, Cb) perçue par le sujet pour chaque série de grilles (Ca, Cb) à fréquence constante dans loptotype (A, B), de manière à tracer une courbe typique (Gt, Gp) de la sensibilité au contraste du sujet.
