PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growing device capable of improving the efficiency of heat radiation or suppressing damage caused by insects.SOLUTION: The plant growing device includes: a lighting device 3 having a plurality of LEDs 32 arranged on one surface of a plate-like member, a plurality of fans 33 arranged on the other surface of the plate-like member 3, and a plurality of air suction holes 35 at a position corresponding to the fans 33 and arranged between the LEDs 32； a placing table 4 for placing plants irradiated with light by the LEDs 32； insect nets 34 covering over the fans 33； and a control part for controlling the rotation of the fans.【課題】放熱の効率を向上させる、又は虫による害を抑制することが可能な植物育成装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】板状部材の一方の面に複数配置されたＬＥＤ３２と、板状部材３の他方の面に配置された複数のファン３３と、ファン３３に対応した位置であって、ＬＥＤ３２の間に設けられた複数の空気吸引孔３５とを有する、照明装置３と、ＬＥＤ３２によって光が照射される植物を載置する載置台４と、ファン３３に被せられた捕虫網３４と、前記ファンの回転を制御する制御部とを備えた、植物育成装置である。【選択図】図２
