The present invention relates to methods of treating tuberculosis, includingmulti~ drug resistant varieties andla-tent tuberculosis. More particularly, the present invention relates to amethod of treating tuberculosis in a mammal comprisingad-ministering to said mammal in need thereof an effective amount of acompound of formula (I),(S)-N- [[3-[3-fluoro-4-(4-thiomor-pholinyl)phenyl]-2-oxo-5-oxazolidinyl]methyl]acetamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereofin combination with atleast two agents useful in the treatment of tuberculosis. The presentinvention also relates to a pharmaceutical compositioncom-prising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I) ora pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof,(ii) a therapeutically effective amount of at least one agent useful in thetreatment of tuberculosis and (iii) one or morepharmaceu-tically acceptable carriers or vehicles.
