PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester hardly causing slacking of a storage bag 97 to improve work efficiency.SOLUTION: The root crop harvester is provided with a rotating mechanism (A) of an arm 95, provided with a sorting transfer conveyor 87 receiving and transferring crops from a pull-out transfer device 24 and having a transfer end freely movable in vertical direction, to move an opening of the storage bag 97 from a posture inclined upward in other left or right side to a nearly horizontal posture holding the left and right sides to nearly same height. a hanger arm 95 attached to the transfer end side of the sorting transfer conveyor 87 in a manner to be rotatable around its lower end as the rotation support point, and an operation lever 120 fixed to the rotation support point at the lower end of the arm 95 for rotating the arm 95. The storage bag 97 is supported by a suspension hanger 98 for suspending the bag in an inclined posture to position the right and left inner sides below the right and left outer side.
