The invention relates to an implant designed for incorporation in a bone and to a method for producing such an implant. The implant is a ceramic implant, which is made up of one piece or of several pieces and which is to be provided in a simple way with a roughened surface, in order to facilitate the incorporation of the implant into the bone. For this purpose, it is proposed to produce the implant in a sintering process and to already increase the surface roughness of the implant before the final sintering operation.
