The invention relates to a medicament dispensing system fororally administering a drug to a patient without risk of spillage orcontamination.The system comprises: a syringe for extracting the drug； an adapter that isfittedto the vial containing the drug, acting as a sealed inner lid； and a housingorhood for protecting the syringe and adapter. The syringe is formed by a bodyand a plunger or piston having four orthogonal equidistant ridges, the edgesofwhich are aligned with the outside diameter of the head, the diameter of thehead being slightly larger (thousandths of mm) than the inside diameter of thebody of the syringe, forming a seal that prevents a vacuum leak uponextractionof the drug.
