Method of a computer-assisted design of an implant (1) to measure for a joint (2) of two bones of a patient, characterized in that it comprises steps consisting in: - position a virtual volume of the prosthetic space (4) in a space of a virtual model (3), and with respect to the anatomical of reference of the said articulation (2), so as to define two zones of intersection (5) between said virtual volume of the prosthetic space (4) and the articulation (2) of the two bones, - detect the edges of said zones of intersection (5) - design the implant (1) on the measurement from a standard implant, which is adapted to the contours of the bearing surfaces (8a) of the said standard implant with the contours previously detected, which correspond to the bone to an implantation of the implant (1).
