The invention provides for treatment of cancers using a rapamycin analog, optionally including bortezomib. In particular, the invention addresses the treatment of bortezomib-resistant cancers using seco-rapamycin and optionally a second proteasome inhibitor. This invention relates to oncology and medicine, and more particularly to treatment of cancer. In particular, rapamycin analogs such as seco-rapamycin may be used advantageously to target the proteasome in cancer cells, optionally in conjunction with proteasome inhibitors such as bortezomib.Linvention concerne le traitement de cancers à laide dun analogue de la rapamycine, éventuellement incluant le bortézomib. En particulier, linvention concerne le traitement de cancers résistant au bortézomib à laide de la séco-rapamycine et éventuellement dun second inhibiteur du protéasome. Cette invention concerne loncologie et la médecine, et plus particulièrement le traitement du cancer. En particulier, des analogues de la rapamycine tels que la séco-rapamycine peuvent être utilisés de manière avantageuse pour cibler le protéasome dans des cellules cancéreuses, éventuellement conjointement avec des inhibiteurs du protéasome tels que le bortézomib.
