CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth contains 0.001-90 wt% of soybean extract as an active ingredient, prepared by extracting 1-70%(v/v) C1-C5 alcohol. A composition for enhancing hair health contains the soybean extract as an active ingredient. The C1-C5 alcohols are methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, n-propyl alcohol, n-butanol, or isobutanol. The composition is applied to a cosmetic, food, or pharmaceutical composition.
